HEALWELL NIGHT SPLINT This Night Splint with Microban can
be used to treat plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, muscle cramps and other
similar conditions affecting the lower extremities. The splint is designed to
comfortably position the foot in a controlled amount of dorsiflexion. The
spring-action Kydex plastic with the ventilated calf area allows for comfort
and breathability, while also helping to prevent torquing at critical areas. The
open cut heel design allows the foot to be comfortably and properly positioned.
Bilateral dorsiflexion straps are adjustable to control the amount of stretch to
the plantar fascia. Has a removable foam wedge to provide additional toe
extension and the non-slip bottom to help prevent accidental slipping. The
removable liner is treated with Microban, an antimicrobial agent that is part
of the molecular structure and provides continuous control over the growth of
certain odor and stain causing bacteria, yeast and fungi. Microban helps
maintain a fresher product in the context of a good patient hygiene program.
